Lead Consultant – Michael Taggart brings an impressive wealth of expertise and practical OD experience to each piece of work. He is a well-respected HR and OD practitioner with strong technical, leadership, management, program design and cross-cultural relationship skills, which he has utilised in a range of organisations worldwide, including all across Australia, Indonesia, South Africa, Kenya and the UK. Over the past 30 years, he has worked with large and small organisations to bring about organisation change and to improve performance through cultural initiatives and leadership development.

Over the last 12 years Michael has specialised on working with organisations that are going through considerable change. In particular he was the lead culture advisor for the merger of financial institutions in Indonesia, South Africa and Kenya, as well as supporting cultural changes for the energy and mining industry in Australia.

Michael is a strong leader. He has held leadership roles in both government and non-government organisations, such as Director of OD for ASIC and Head of Development for the National Health Service in the UK. He has successfully implemented programs with well integrated gender components and led multicultural teams to achieve demonstrated public sector reform. He has a solid track record of developing staff, giving them the technical capacity and the confidence to progress within their organisations. He is personally driven to motivate and provide opportunities for individuals to realise their potential.

Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Organisation Change, and various Diplomas in OHS, NLP, Engineering Management, General Management and HR.
